Established in 1957 and acquired by James C. Duff in 1963, Duff Consulting Engineers, Inc. offers a full line of civil engineering services to our clients in Central Texas and surrounding areas.

Duff Consulting Engineers, Inc. is a Certified Woman Business Enterprise (WBE).  Founded by the late James C. Duff, P.E., the current owners are Anna Duff Adamek, P.E., B.S., President and Julia Duff Bettinger, B.A., Vice President.  The firm registration number is F-400, by the State of Texas via the Texas Board of Professional Engineers.  The engineering staff has a total of over 50 years of experience as registered engineers, consulting in all phases of civil engineering.  This specialization requires the utilization of design approaches to yield an economically feasible project, with minimal ongoing maintenance and operating costs while meeting the needs of the community and the requirements of various regulatory agencies.

Our staff reflects a wide range of education from Engineering, Masters of Business Administration, Bachelor of Business Administration, Bachelor of Fine Arts, Bachelor of Art to Associate Degrees.  This support staff consists of a project manager, computer aided drafting technicians, a receptionist, a comptroller/contract document specialist and an office manager.

Various additional services are handled on a contract basis from local companies whenever possible, such as geotechnical engineering services, surveying services, project inspections during the construction phase, easement/right-of-way acquisition prior to construction, and landowner notifications for construction.  Most duplication and scanning services are done on-site; however, occasionally due of this type work we will contract out to local companies.
